Thats what an associate of mine said when we were discussing Low Moisture Cleaning and Hot Water Extraction (HWE) Cleaning.
As I have stated before, There will always be a need for HWE, however it is not always needed! The example above is very accurate. Why use an 18 wheeler, or a Ford F350 4x4 ect. to pull a small boat when you can have the same results by using a Toyota Corolla.
This is the low moisture method. It is todays green science for cleaning your carpets. It cleans wonderfully, and drys very quickly. Unless your carpet is "rat nasty" as the industry calls it, you do not need for someone to drive their big van and run the loud gas powered truck mounted engine for a couple of hours. You don't need water flushing your carpets at 3 gallons per minute, you do not need your doors open for the hoses to run from the truck, and you do not need to wait several hours to use the space again.
